Vaishali is an elevated metro station located on the branch line of the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro in Ghaziabad. Newly constructed as part of a 2.57 km extension from Anand Vihar station, it was originally expected to open in March 2011.[1] However, after multiple delays, the station finally opened for passenger service on 14 July, 2011.
The station is one of the busiest station in Delhi.Parking facility is also available on this station.Daily many two wheeler vehicles and cars are parked outside the station in huge number. The station serves the people residing in Vaishali,Indirapuram,Vasundhara and Sahibababad.Vaishali is one of the high class place in Ghaziabad(Delhi). As soon as metro reached vaishali,the property rates climb at a very high rate.It is a centralised place from where the cities of Delhi,Noida and Ghaziabad can be reached very easily.
Vaishali's development comes under Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam.[2][3][4][5]
